Hours of work: 60hrs/pp - Mon-Fri 9:00am – 3:00pm
Maternity Leave coverage - 6 months possibly 1 yr
Start date: Sept. 1, 2026
Pay rate: $21.40-$27.25
We are currently seeking an experienced candidate to provide support to our male individual with developmental disability. He has severe Developmental delays, Spastic quadriplegia, Cerebral Palsy, Cortical blindness, Microcephaly, Seizure disorder, Sleep apnea (CPAP dependent), G-tube feeding and Non-verbal.
Duties will include:
- Community outings, sensory stimulation, music, arts and crafts etc.
- He is sensitive to noise and loud voices. Loves his music.
- He needs full assistance and will need on and off oral suctioning and health monitoring.
Qualifications:
- For transportation, our client uses Rocky View Regional Handi Bus and Checker’s Wheelchair Access Van.
- We prefer someone who lives in the NE or SE, near or around Chestermere area.
- A diploma or equivalent formal education in Rehabilitation Services, Social Services;
- 2-year experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities.
- A valid First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration.
- Certifications are required.
- A recent Vulnerable Police clearance check is REQUIRED upon interview.
