Resicare Society of Calgary consists of a team of professionals who are dedicated and committed to providing comprehensive integrated and high quality support services to disabled individuals.
We are currently seeking an experienced Support worker to provided support to adults with developmental disabilities. You will be part of a team that helps support six (6) individuals with varying disabilities. You will be required to do some personal care, bathing, dressing, medication administration, dishes, laundry, sweeping, cleaning, cooking, cutting the grass, etc. We are staffed 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Start Date: Immediately
Hours: Full Time Residential / Day / Weekends - 75hrs/pay period
Qualifications:
A Diploma or equivalent formal education in Rehabilitation Services, Social Services, Health Care Aide and 2 years experience supporting persons with developmental disabilities. A valid First Aid/CPR and Medication Administration certification are required.
A recent Police clearance is REQUIRED upon interview. Candidate must drive and have a valid class 5 driver's license and vehicle must have a $2 million liability.
